BATTLE OF THE BRIDGES CUP

On October 17 th , The Gables to the Bay Regatta will bring together the best Stand Up Paddleboarders in the world to compete for the coveted Mercedes-Benz of Coral Gables Battle of the Bridges Cup. The Cup offers first place prize money of $1,000 to each women 's and men's winners in the 12'6" and under class. Second and Third place in each class will receive $500 and $250 respectively.

The world's best want the inaugural cup. Ekolu Kalama, the #1 SUP'er in the World, will be flying in from Hawaii. Ernie Alvarez, # 1 in Puerto Rico, will be racing. Packet Casey, Florida's own #1, has his eyes on the prize. In the women's category, Florida's own Helga Goebel, plans to make the cup her own.
